I find it very refreshing and calming to know tha' we be able to look upon these changes with hope, rejoicing and good cheer. A cause is needed in everyones life, including a pirate. IF and yes that is a big IF ya only know what the pointy end of the sword feels like then ya be nothing more then a pin cushion or in some cases a voodoo doll. Whereas if ya can now know that thar be a Hilt on the other end ya might be more inclined to use the sword properly instead of a device ta pick the butt crumbs off of your arse. Ya might evern learn tha' thar be a button, a pommel, a tang (nothing to do with poon) a grip, a ecsusson, a quillon, a pas d'ane, a ricasso and of course the ever present anneau on the other end of such a wonderful weapon. In closing I say trump them with aces and never be afraid to run from a battle. Remember thar be nothing wrong with dishonor before death if tha' be your only option unless ya can bribe your way out of a fight. Then ya be broke n dishonored but ya still be alive which is better then not having any windows on your telephone pole like most people have found out the hard way. In a fight it is better to stick your head up your arse and fight for air then it is to stick thine head up your opponents arse. Air is free and no one should have to fight for it. In closing for the second time if ya get stabbed in the ass, with a sword, would said sword be considered a weapon of ass destruction?? In closing for the third time I say hmmm lets see how it works.

Heh, what was I thinking. Edited O/P for jack's sake. Well now how did a conversation about combat get on the subject of bundle of sticks or branches, er arr ya referring to a British meatball commonly made of pork offal. Wait ya must be referring to an archaic unit of measurement for bundles of sticks. Er perchance the olde British Christmas tradition of ashon fagot. Maybe ya just wanted to get a pack of smokes brought into the subject. I enjoy a good smoke and a roaring fire after combat especially after a nice Christmas feast.
