On another note, I've come to the end of my 14 day free trial, and to be honest....there is nothing there to see different from when I left 6 months ago. Without a new level cap, I just can't see spending the money to play.
As for new games, Star Trek Online is due to enter open beta in 2 weeks. I have purchased the game and will be there for at least 6 - 8 months.
If any of the "pack" try the game out, please give me a call...name will be "Blodvaerd" there. "Bluddwolf" will be my Klingon faction toon, hoping there will be some form of piracy to be had in Federation space.

Happy newyear ta all Wolf's       And now fer some thing completly different..... Well Bludd, I got a Herc for you, Oh well, some one will have a use for it. You never did any of the new missions. You never did try the skirmish. You want to be smugling ? You never hauled goods through the red. You never were on the treasure hunt, there is several different treasure maps in game . You want a higher lvl cap. What should that do to the game, if you aren't happy with your skills, you can respec. You didn't respec, you were still running with the old skills ? You never got any o' the cool ava gear ? I'll just stop here, no reason to go on. I bet 2010 will be a good year fer the Caribbean WolfPack ! |

The only thing I agree with ya on is the fact NoballsObama is a dick n needs to be voted out of office with the rest of the Democraps.

Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you guys, I just don't have the time to invest in more than one game at a time. I want to give STO open beta a go, and then a few months after launch.
Thanks to Obama, I don't have $30.00 per month for gaming, $15 is my max!! Why is Obama to blame? Simple....
He has sent signals through the US Education system that he is more in favor of private schools, over public schools, he is in favor of joining teacher pay to student performance on a standardized test, and with these ideas floating out there Mayor Bloomberg has refused to negotiate in good faith with my union. End result, no contract, no salary increase in past year and all of my cost of living expenses have increased between 5 - 10%!
Now I don't mind having my salary connected to student performance, if I get to hand pick my students - Like they do in private schools.
I don't mind being held to results on standardized tests, if I know what will be on those tests and I can teach to them.
I would not mind both things if I would not be held to account for the asshole kid that doesn't show up to school for 100 days a year, or the one that spends 3 months in jail, or the 13 year old that gets pregnant and misses the second half of the year.....yeah all of these have happened! So this scum bag Obama wants my salary attached to that potential performance....that is a load of Bull Shit!!

Aye Bludd, we choose the games we want to play.
We chose to stay in POTBS, and we had, and still have manny hours o' fun, hours spend on playing, building, chasing ava gear and über stuff fer our boats, cursing shouting on ventrillo.
You have never been to a portbattle, with ventrillo running wich add a completly new dimension to it, hearing the other guys fight having fun, shouting fer a cover, hearing the commands, hearing the sheer joy, when some enemies goes down in flames, or the happy chatter when we sack yet another town.
Our society is, I'm proud ta say, the oldest society in game, every one knows the WolfPack, our eco is well, we can afford every thing. If one o' us lose a boat, we just say, oh well, and get another, we can build it, or buy it.
And when the new patch comes around, we'll govern a port .
I love this game, and I'll stay in here, with the Wolf's and my friends.
If you had ventrillo running, like the rest o' us, you might have felt different.
2010 gonna be the year o' the Carribean WolfPack !

As I said, $15.00 per month is my cap, unfortunate but true. I have already purchased new game, and have it in my mind to give it a few months. I went back to POTBS to see what you all were up to, and because I had 14 days free.
I'm done with EVE, probably for good. I'm done with Age of Conan, nothing could bring me back to that game. I may return to POTBS during the summer, if STO is not what its cracked up to be.
I wish you and the Caribbean Wolfpack luck and fun with your game.

Aye, being pyrates suits us well, it allways did, that was the reason we were in the F.I.S.T. it was a shame the F.I.S.T. wasn't cut out to be a gaming guild, but I'm happy the WolfPack turned out to have the staying power, and we might not be a big society, but we are friends that stick together, and we got close relations with other societies.
Thanks fer yer nice wisches Bludd, and now I have ta go and do some pyrate things, arrrrrrrr !
