couldn't connect for the last 3 days and been grinding away at the "try anything to fix these aksjfda;jsdkfj a computers". so here's the support log cause I don't feel like explaining everything again.
The messages flow from the bottom up so unless you want to read it backward you should scroll to the bottom of my post and go up to read it......

I'm really baffled now. We had a storm last night and the power flickered about 3 times before I shut off the power strips to the computers/router. When I turned everything back on this morning I thought I'd try again and have had absolutely no trouble either at the website's or the game.
No I don't use the station launcher, though I tried to look it up and was haveing trouble locating it.
This really has me baffled. But don't look a gift horse in the mouth I guess.
good health to you all

Disregard my last post. Getting rid of the router opened up my ability to open all the burning sea web pages, but I still don't get a server list.

After hours of trying different stuff. I've come down to the conclusion that my router is somehow (I have no clue) doing the blocking. (even after resetting everything in said router. (linksys model wrt54g). With the router completely removed (internet directly connected to one computer at a time) I am not having this issue currently (though that didn't work last night so I'm still worried/confused) I will be going to buy a new router tomorrow and pray that it's fixed.
Thank you for the time you have put into this.
I will update this after trying a new router.
good health to you all

No good, We can't even go to anything with www.burningsea.com in it.
www.burningsea.com/page/login&p_userid=owllinski&p_next_page=myq_upd.php&p_iid=71966&p_created=1236473090 this web site will not load either.
We can't even get a server list up, the page shows when loading the game but no servers appear.

I and my wife can not connect to anything that has to potbs. we can load and update the game and do full file scans. We don't see any info in the first page there that discribes updates, latest news, polls etc. we can click on play after it scans but do not get any server list. We also can not go to the website, forums, or any other website that has anything to do with Potbs other then this support site. I have talked to my isp and they confirm that nothing is blocked. I've talked to my society mates from around the world and none of them report any issues, including my brother that lives 10 miles from me. The last idea that I can come up with is if our ip address was mistakenly banned for some reason, but even then I would think that I could load www.burningsea.com in some form or another.
Any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated. There is nothing that has changed in our systems or set up in the last several weeks.
good health to you all
