Check this 17th century beauty out; the Vasa. The detail is incredible.

According to one site:
In 1628, the highly-decorated warship Vasa sailed from Stockholm on her anticipated maiden voyage - and sank immediately due to major flaws in her construction design.
More than three centuries later, the Vasa was rediscovered and is today the world's only preserved 17th-century ship.

It's sweedish, the sweedes wanted ta build a boat with more gundecks like we had, danish navy, but they were and are sweedes, so they placed the heaviest gun on the upper gundeck, and every non sweede can imagine that this would not be a good idea ;D

It got out o' port and as they took a turn, it sank ;D

As for boats build by the danes, take a look at the Pomeren, or Hercules frigat, that's a copy o' the danish frigat Pomeren
