Maybe there IS more to Danish cooking than drinking a ton of Mjod then licking a frozen herring.

I came across this yesterday and was REALLY surprised! They are called Aebleskivers! They are puffed pancakes of sorts with fruit in the middle. Traditionally they have apples in them, but I found that bananas, or even a bit o' cream cheese in the middle is awesome!

I liked 'em so much I had to order the special cast iron pan you need to make em! VR, why din ye tell us about these sooner, ye filthy pirate???
