Garr, this boils me blood soaked rum mates and poots me in a mighty dishevelled mood. The sail design was rejected. A mighty fine design struck down before it could see the light of day. Had less pass under as approved, pack o' hypocrytic fools. Take that level 30ish pirate sail reward in-game and you'll get me bearing.

This is a fine idea, but you'll want to consider the following points in order to get this ready for the game: Brush up on period-appropriate artwork styles -- look for Baroque and Renaissance art for inspiration. Modern artwork styles (such as Anime, Disney or other cartoons, modernist/post-modernist styles, etc.) are not appropriate to the setting. With so much canvas colored, you'll want to make your decal somewhat transparent (opacity around 50-70%) so some of the underlying sail texture shows through, in addition to leaving some areas 100% transparent.
